Since its founding in 2022, Empower Publishing has proudly championed the voices and stories of the neurodivergent community. Our mission is rooted in one powerful belief: difference is not deficiency—it is diversity, strength, and brilliance.

Too often, neurodivergent individuals are misunderstood or misrepresented. We aim to change that narrative by publishing books that reflect their lived experiences, celebrate their talents, and inspire empathy and inclusion. Through storytelling, we seek to empower children and families to feel seen, valued, and connected.

Our debut title, Robby the Dyslexic Taxi and the Airport Adventure, co-created by a neurodivergent family, introduced readers to a lovable taxi who sees the world differently—and that’s his superpower. Robby’s journey resonated with children, parents, educators, and therapists alike, opening doors to honest conversations about dyslexia and self-worth. The book has since been translated into Spanish and continues to reach new audiences.

Building on Robby’s success, Empower Publishing is expanding the Creative Cab Company® series. The second book, Suzy the ADHD Taxi and the Sightseeing Adventure, follows a new character navigating focus and energy in her own unique way. With more stories on the horizon, each book will highlight a different aspect of neurodivergence and the beauty of diverse minds.
